Spring and sunshine.

After a really cold drab day yesterday, once the cloud had cleared this morning, the day unfolded with sunshine..
Still a chilly breeze at times but warm enough to sit out at the patio table wearing a fleece jacket.
I supervised Stephen trimming the box hedge as it has signs of disease I did it last Spring, cutting off the parts which were suspect. They have to be put into garden bags and not composted, so they do not infect anything else. Then the whole hedge is sprayed with a special anti-fungal mix.It worked very well last year. I had researched it on YouTube.
It looks so much better and hopefully will have staved it off this year.
One of our small box shrubs in the front garden will get the same treatment tomorrow.
The towels were all out on the line early this morning after a wash, and the second lot out before lunch.
Now all back indoors dry and smelling of fresh air!
My dear hubby has got everything well organised.
After lunch he walked alongside me up the road to our friends’ house where I was going to have a cuppa and catch up.
He came to accompany back again 90 minutes later.
It felt good to be outdoors, even having to walk using two crutches, and I really enjoyed the afternoon.
I love their garden and have blipped it several times, but left out the line of washing on their line.
