Seafood Temple

The planned celebration at the Spread Eagle didn't happen, we left too soon, but last night we celebrated the end of chemo in grand style at the Seafood Temple. This is the evening view across Kerrera Sound, the Isle of Kerrera and the hills of Mull in the far distance. The meal was excellent too, very obliging cooking a main course size of one of the starters for us. Their Crab and Avocado Cakes are to die for.... all squishy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Scallops are tender and tasty with a dream of a sauce drizzled over. All credit to the chef who cooks these masterpieces in a kitchen so tiny I could barely make a cup of tea in it. The whole building is a fantastic conversion of an old Victorian public toilet facility, though what it was doing out there on the road to nowhere except the Kerrera ferry, is anyone's guess.
