Evening Flight

I phoned the hospital x-ray department (to arrange a hip x-ray) first thing this morning .......... 20 times!
I lost the plot and drove down there.
Arrived at the x-ray dept. and there were 2 receptionists sitting there .... nobody else there and no ringing phones.
I explained why I had arrived in person and the response was "Ahh - It's Monday morning and very busy".
I bit my tongue.
I got my appointment .... for 5 days time. 8 days from the time I spoke to the doctor who sent the request (by computer) and told me to leave it a couple of days for the request to arrive and be processed  before phoning for an appointment.
Whatever happened to the doctor handing you a slip of paper and telling you to go to the hospital and the x-ray being done within an hour or two (max)?

There was a bit of shopping done on the way home.
There was a wee bit of turning done (nothing actually completed).
There was a load of crafting stuff suitable for young children dropped off at the nursery ... and another load for 'older' kids dropped off at the charity shop.

There were some quite nice clouds appeared as the sun started going down - so I took some pictures (no surprise there then). Some were taken with a 'normal' camera and others with the infrared one (converted to black & white)
