Spent some time opening up the Ikea packages in the garage and transferring the contents upstairs ready to begin assembling tomorrow – they’re too big/bulky/heavy to do otherwise. Drove K1 down to the funeral directors to meet G and say farewells to B. Afterwards we went up to Belle Vue Park for a chat over coffee and cake on the terrace in the warm afternoon sun, glorious. Back home did a bit more preparation for dismantling the old bed and putting up the ‘headboard’ tomorrow.
