Relaxing end to the weekend

Having been more than reasonable in my alcohol consumption over the weekend, I was more than a little miffed to find myself feeling a bit “off” when I woke up. Normally, I can put that at Mrs. Ottawacker’s door, but I think I slept well enough. Please tell me I am not coming down with something new.
 
A peaceful and relaxing day, once again. Dirk and Mrs. Ottawacker went out for a walk – my hips weren’t up to the slipping and sliding and Ottawacker Jr. wanted to read ­­– so I waited till they were back and then prepared an omelette. Dirk stayed till around 2, and then headed back to Québec City. He’s going to be spending the next 5 months in Europe. It was hard for Ottawacker Jr. to stop his lip trembling when he heard that. Me too, actually.
 
We had a quiet day. I did some laundry, Mrs. Ottawacker did some emails, and then we had an early dinner and watched Raiders of the Lost Ark. Successfully jumped back on the wagon. I’ll be interested to see how the scales react to my little “blip”.
