Katie brought home her best ever set of drawings from nursery today. Often her nursery pictures are something hastily done, to tick the "I've done a cities" box so it seems. But today they were great. She'd done a picture of some people with some balls inside a rectangle- it was the scene from one of their computer games. She'd drawn a different rectangle with rows of different coloured circles above rows is the same coloured little rectangles. It's some new iphone style walkie-talkies that they have. And she drew a very detailed picture of me, in a house i the sunshine. she had completely coloured every bit of the a4 page. Lesley told me yesterday that since our chat on parents evening Katie has suddenly started doing the writing at nursery too. She realised her secret had been spilled it seems!
