Preparation of the sheep began around 0730 am - by 0930 it was wrapped in foil and on the barbecue.  The two farm men were there to turn it every 15 minutes or so.  It was a very hot job especially as for the first time in a few days the sun came out and the humidity with it.
In extra, after the feast, David was presented with a cake to celebrate his 80 years on earth.
All in all a very enjoyable day - great for me to get reacquainted with a lot of  their older friends.
Slept well......
