A Daily Dose

These beautiful flowers were in a shop, with many others. They are a national flower and seem to be in their prime at the moment.
We had to take a road trip today to get David to see the surgeon who did his knee replacement eight weeks ago.  Being an impatient man, David was concerned at how long this was taking to get back to 'normal' but was told apparently that he must learn patience....
We enjoyed the day in Nelspruit, had a light lunch and a mooch in a very interesting Indian shop, selling everything and anything!  En route home we had to watch out for the many herds of cattle on the roads - hazardous driving - especially those that were lying on the warm tarmac!  Very interesting driving conditions. (extra).
It was well after 6.00 pm when we got home - so having left at 6.00 am, an early night was called for but of course we had to prepare and enjoy a supper first. Klaus a German friend of theirs is staying, though he stayed home in the game park for the day, so we had supper with him before heading for a relatively early night.
We are off to the Kruger Park tomorrow so again, I will not be able to keep up with blip daily as am not sure there will be internet where we are going but sometime I will be a 'good' Blipper again.  Apologies but I just don't seem to have time to read all journals and reply at the moment.  Life on a farm is just busy.....
