Blodeuo
Blodeuo ~ Blossoming
“I took my pill at eleven. An hour and half later I was sitting in my study, looking intently at a small glass vase. The vase contained only three flowers —a full-blown Belle of Portugal rose, shell pink with a hint at every petal’s base of a hotter, flamier hue; a large magenta and cream-coloured carnation; and, pale purple at the end of its broken stalk, the bold heraldic blossom of an iris. Fortuitous and provisional, the little nosegay broke all the rules of traditional good taste. At breakfast that morning I had been struck by the lively dissonance of its colours. But that was no longer the point. I was not looking now at an unusual flower arrangement. I was seeing what Adam had seen on the morning of his creation - the miracle, moment by moment, of naked existence.”
― Aldous Huxley, (‘The Doors of Perception’, The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell, Penguin Books, 1960, p16/17)

Mae Dydd Llun yn dod yn rownd eto.
Es i i'r grŵp Cymraeg yn y bore, fel arfer. Rydw i'n wastad mwynhau'r daith cerdded i fyny i'r dafarn, ac yn ôl adre. Y dyddiau hyn rydw i'n mwynhau'r sgwrs yn Gymraeg hefyd. Doedd e ddim wedi bod proses cyfforddus, rydw i'n meddwl mai'n wastad yn lletchwith i ddysgu rhywbeth newydd ac yn arbrofi eich sgiliau. Serch hynny rhaid i ni roi ein hunain yn y sefyllfaoedd hyn os rydyn ni'n mynd i wella.
Siaradon ni (ymhlith pethau arall) am sgandalau mewn bywydau pobl enwog a sut mae'r sgandalau yn eu dilyn am oes. Mae'n well osgoi sgandal trwy fod yn ofalus, nid yn byw bywyd dyblu, ac yn bod yr un person yn gyhoedd ac yn breifat.
Ar y ffordd adre tynnais i lawer o ffotograffau. Pan ddych chi'n cario ffôn symudol mae'r cyfle gwastad yna. Sylwais i'r goeden helyg mawr yn tyfu ar lan y nant yn y pentref, Gerllaw roedd coeden helyg yn fwy bach mewn blodeuo a phenderfynais i dyfu ffotograff o'r blodau. Yn y cefndir mae'r nant.
Yn y prynhawn gweithion ni ar y patio. Fy ngwaith ddoe ar y soffa yn gweithio’n dda. Roedden ni'n gallu rhoi'r clustogau yn ôl ar y soffa a fyddech chi ddim yn gwybod bod y mewn roedd hen pallet. Mae'n gyfforddus iawn. Rydyn ni'n edrych ymlaen at fwy diwrnodau heulog, i eistedd allan gyda the a thost.

Monday comes round again.
I went to the Welsh group in the morning, as usual. I always enjoy the walk up to the pub, and back home. These days I enjoy the conversation in Welsh too. It hasn't been a comfortable process, I think it's always awkward to learn something new and test your skills. However we must put ourselves in these situations if we are going to get better.
We talked (among other things) about scandals in the lives of famous people and how the scandals follow them for life. It is better to avoid scandal by being careful, not living a double life, and being the same person in public and in private.
On the way home I took many photographs. When you carry a mobile phone there is always that opportunity. I noticed the large willow tree growing on the bank of the stream in the village, Nearby there was a smaller willow tree in bloom and I decided to grow a photograph of the flowers (blossoms). In the background is the stream.
In the afternoon we worked on the patio. My work yesterday on the sofa is working well. We were able to put the cushions back on the sofa and you wouldn't know there was an old pallet inside. It is very comfortable. We are looking forward to more sunny days, to sit out with tea and toast.
