Scaffolding No More!

This was the day the scaffolding came down, 5 months and 4 days after it went up on the 21st October last year. I spent the greater part of the afternoon picking up rubble from the patio and the grass and sweeping 5 months of dead leaves  and general mess from the area. What I would like is to have the patio hosed down with the site’s high pressure washer to get rid of builders dust  but apparently it is out of action at the moment.

I had a lovely swim this morning in a calm sea with my sunbeam on the water for company, a warming sun while dressing and buses that didn’t keep me waiting. Even the road works in Porty High Street were finished so that we had a smooth run home. I can become a bit paranoid when everything goes without a hitch! 
In between the swim and the hard graft on the patio, I slotted in a badly needed haircut. It’s been 4 months since the last one.
Finally,  I celebrated a successful day with a bottle of cider the effects of which haven’t kicked in yet as I still seem to be able to type c*her”t£y!
