Arum italicum

Arum italicum, also known as Italian arum and Italian lords-and-ladies is native to the British Isles] and much of the Mediterranean region, the Caucasus, Canary Islands, Madeira and northern Africa. It is also classed as an invasive species and is known to be highly toxic. We have a small patch at the bottom of our garden which is well contained. The leaves have an attractive, ornamental quality and the plant is attractive and quite fascinating when in flower, and later in the year with its bright, shiny berries.
