One woman and her mother's dog
It was a bit rubbish today, but the dog doesn't care and still expects his walks. The morning walk wasn't full length but was at least dry. For the beach walk we arrived and the beach was basically empty and the clouds were rather heavy and foreboding.
I didn't take many pictures but I like this one - he decided to run at great speed to see the sea. While it looks rippled the sand is actually very flat, the ripples are in the sand grains a the surface was smooth and easy to walk on.
When we got to the end of the beach (the horizon on this picture), we couldn't get to the next beach as the tide hadn't gone out far enough, but at that point the heavens opened and we walked back in the driving rain all the way we had come. We did put a jacket on the dog so he wasn't utterly drenched or cold, but we were a little damp when we got home.
We had rather excellent home made cake at my mother-in-law's and warmed up with tea.
