Pulsatilla vulgaris (Pasqueflower)

This beautiful flower was found at Emmetts Garden today. It's a real stunner but flowering very early, perhaps it's the wonderful spring weather.

But for the purpose of the theme, and I doubt it's in the least bit difficult to guess, what are the black lines behind it?
