Fallen Phone Box Door
A breezy day, but thankfully mostly dry, sunny spells and a few light showers in the morning. Lovely calm evening.
Another day working on my own. I finished off the Gulberwick bus shelters, then made a start to pressure washing the Trondra and Burra shelters. Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's for a cuppa too. Potted the last of the bedding plants this evening. Feet up before bed.
Thank goodness for a better day, much nicer to wash bus shelters when it's dry outside. As I headed to my next stop, I passed this old phone box. Many of our phone boxes have been abandoned or torn down. This one is fallen into a poor state, with the door laying on the ground. I'd love to get my hands on it, make a great feature and a good cold frame in the garden. Taken at the Tresbister junction, Gulberwick.
