Buds

I was still tired this morning, so another slow start to the day. I did finish my book then did a few chores. I took myself for a quick walk along the road to get myself going. It was much colder than yesterday.

I then headed out for a run, and ran about four and a half miles. The last bit was all up hill, which was hard work.

I managed to drag TT away from his marking for a walk this afternoon. We walked a circuit from Pencraig to East Linton, Smeaton, Phantasdie Doocot, then along the river to Hailes Cadtle, then back up the hill to Pencraig. It was a lovely afternoon for a walk, with the weather improving over the afternoon.

I was on tea tonight, and cooked a chicken, aubergine and miso dish. It was tasty, and there’s plenty for another night.

Later I got myself ready for the week ahead, then watched some TV.

We saw a couple of horse chestnut trees, with buds just bursting open.
