Futbol

This is jury member Karlis watching the Latvia England match from our table for dinner.  He said all of Latvia was incredibly excited to be playing England at Wembley so was phlegmatic when they lost.  

We only had one screening today, the Spanish show Celeste followed by a nice if rushed lunch at Club Marot.  In the afternoon I went to see one of the other shows not in my competition M Son of the Century, directed by my old friend and colleague Joe Wright.  It was brilliant, bold and exhausting.  Went for a bit of a walk before going to the welcome drinks for the Forum, or business side of the festival. We met up with Karlis’s writer for a drink there and then went off to dinner in the above Italian restaurant.

Decided to skip the after party tonight and got to bed around midnight.  Felt a bit disappointed actually!
