Golf

Today I had a final meeting with my Year 4 project student to discuss the slides for his presentation, immediately after writing a reference for the first of his MSc applications. It was a lovely spring day, allowing И and I to eat our lunch outdoors. After attending my student's presentation - which was convincing, if not 100% correct - I handled some interesting emails, before leaving at 16:30 to go to mum's flat. There I met a guy from the company that will be selling it. When chatting, I discovered that he plays the golf course that I can see from the office, so I now know that this is the par 5 14th.

Back home, A had a zoom call until 20:30 when, as we'd promised ourselves, we went out to eat. Being a Tuesday evening in Penicuik, the first place we tried was deserted and not doing food, so we were thankful that the Craigiebield - although almost empty - was still serving.
