Lined with thistledown

This goldfinch, one of a pair, has a beakful of nesting material. Goldfinches line their nests with soft material like this thistledown. Isn't that lovely. 

Not nearly such a warm morning. I was out early to have a hair cut and it felt chilly. I had a long meeting last night so I didn't get to many journals. Will try harder today but it's Wednesday so I'll be picking the girls up after school and won't be home till later.
