Protest
There was a bit of drama in the office today when some protesters got into the building reception.
They were protesting our neighbour and former owners involvement in insuring Elbit; an Israeli defence contractor.
The sign read: Allianz Insures The Gaza Genocide.
To my ignorant shame, I simply do not know enough about the conflict there to pass any further comment on this. There was an unfortunate comedic moment when they were trying to leave the building they'd been let into, but couldn't work out how to open the door...
I've never felt strongly enough about anything to go on a protest. I'm not sure what, if anything, that seems about me?!
Either way, I was glad to return to the sanity/sanctity of my home and take a lunchtime wander in the sunshine.
Mad evening getting an early tea down the children and then the boy to and from cricket, but everything seemed to come together in the end.
