Taking a Break

H and I met at Cley this morning for a circular walk including a stretch over the shingle beach. I was 5 mins late as I'd come across a road closed sign on the coast road at Weybourne, but as usual it didn't say where, so I risked it and ended up turning back a few miles on and going an alternative route. Often these signs can be up to 10 miles before the road is actually closed, plus they never have a diversion in place, so it's very annoying. A beautiful warm and sunny day, although again there was little wildlife to be seen. My main photo is of a fisherman taking a break in the sun and I've added an extra of a Hercules flying low over the beach. Yesterday G and I saw a very low jet fly fast over Holt, there's definitely more practising going on! This afternoon I cleaned my other patio in the back garden.

I was unimpressed by the Chancellor's Spring Statement - I want her to do well as the first female Chancellor, but so far I think she's been very poor. The 'ordinary working people' phrase really annoys me as all working make up only half of the population, what about the other half?
