Thursday@2:45

This morning I washed my bedding and another load and got both dried outside by just after lunch, weirdly satisfying. So my brushed cotton bedding is now going away until next Winter once ironed. I also had my Sainsbury’s delivery and washed and brushed my path at the back.

This afternoon I drove to Cley for my weekly Thursdays@3 concert. As you can tell from the title, I took the four photos in my collage in the churchyard just before the concert. Todays music was two piano trios, one composed by Ethel Smyth and the other by Johannes Brahms (I preferred the former). We were treated by a fabulous performance by three very talented young musicians playing piano, violin and cello. All are doing advanced studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London. I’ve no idea how the organiser manages to find and book such talented musicians to come and play for us in North Norfolk for a free concert with tea and cake, just requesting a retiring donation to raise money for a new sound system for the church.
