A panadol I was able to take last night did wonders. I finally feel human today, which is just as well as it is my . . . birthday!

Plans for lunch with Diane had to be scrapped as I still couldn't face food. I can manage simple stuff like an egg roll! However, some "important" beauty things had to go ahead, like a hair appointment! G came with me and had a pedicure. After that, we came back for a rest before venturing out to Costa at Al Seef with Diane. They gave me a free coffee for my birthday!

There was a beautiful afternoon breeze, so we decided to go ahead with the Cha Cha boat ride part of the day's plan. G took a picture for posterity. I have to come back and add a few extras.

I hoped to finish at the Sol Sky Bar, but that would have stretched it too far, so we came back home via Spinneys to collect a rotisserie chicken. That was dinner. GK over and out. I have to record that my elder sister sent me beautiful flowers.
