First ice-cream of the season.

Thankyou all so much for the hearts on yesterday’s blip! I never expected my old pot would generate such interest.
This morning was dull and cool, and not promising much in the way of warmth or sunshine.
Yet not long after lunch the clouds cleared and the clear blue sky appeared once more, to provide a glorious afternoon.
Stephen dropped me off at the Harvest Fields Centre after lunch so I could have coffee with the Pilates group after their class. Good to see them and they said how well I looked, and how well I was walking, with my one crutch now.
Once he had picked me up again having been to the gym and had done a bit of shopping we came out here to the summerhouse to enjoy the early evening sunshine. It is now 17:03 and lovely to sit here , having an ice-cream each.
The ice-cream man is outside school across the road and no doubt done a roaring trade as the pupils were released at 15.30.
Our friend is coming for her dinner as usual around 18:00.
I still have mine around 12:30 as I need the energy during the day.
More washing on the line. Good day for sweaters.
