Dark Hedges

... naturally framed for Wide Wednesday, thank you Bob. The real Dark Hedges seem to be coming to the end of their natural lives.
A soft and murky day today, mainly spent getting ready for a two day field trip to Kerry,  starting tomorrow. The forecast looks a bit iffy, the wells are very obscure but we are going with Finola so I'm sure will have an excellent time. We are attending a talk on pilgrimage in Kerry by a friend in Tralee library tomorrow night, will hit the fields and hedges and churches on Friday and on Saturday Finola is giving a talk as part of the Skellig's Dark Sky Fest. She's talking about Agnes Clerke, a 19C Irish female astronomer.
And we, like a large number of other people, are watching  Adolescence - impeccably acted, extraordinarily made (each hour long episode is one continual shot) and absolutely harrowing,  The creators have set out to highlight the complexity of navigating masculinity in adolescence, and the influence of digital misogyny on teenage boys. They have done so in a sobering and eye opening manner.
All go, so I shall catch up later.
