The pumps are back!

I went to the dentist this morning to have part of a filling replaced…..all quite straightforward. However this afternoon I was eating a sandwich and a bit of the same tooth broke off or the filling? So rather annoyed it will require another visit to sort out….I. hoping she will do it free!

I went to the allotment today to discuss with my friend what we would plant where. It was actually nice and warm, and sunny. We have no running water just old fashioned hand pumps which are taken off in the winter. They were put back and tested by the “pumps” team last weekend. The allotments were made during the war ( called the Royal Paddocks allotments because they were made on the paddocks where horses for Hampton court were kept previously) and are  not council allotments like most are these days. 

As all my daffodils in my garden are nearly over I went to the Garden centre and bought a few new ones plus some bags of compost for pots. May sort out my pots tomorrow as have Dyno Rod coming between 8 and 1 , hopefully, to sort our cold water tank.
