Lots of red flowers!

Early this morning I finalised bookings to go Scotland in June to visit a friend who has moved to Edinburgh…will go on the train as I have not done that route and have been told there are good views of the Northumberland coast etc. and fly back. She was meant to be here now but her flight was on the day Heathrow was disrupted so she abandoned those plans.

This  morning after a swim…still so few in the pool(4)  which is great for me, I collected a friend from her house in Kingston and we went to Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. She cracked her pelvis while taking a school group on a skiing trip at half term and is still recovering..slowly. She can now walk a bit so we walked round the gardens there. I thought this was an unusual planting as all the flowers were red…from a distance ai didn’t know what they would be…….various primulas. Also interspersed with wallflowers which are not flowering yet. The cafe was so crowded we went elsewhere to another one.

This afternoon I collected the twins as usual and now I’m going to catch up on some recorded TV.
