Car Park bay

Gosh, I wasn't ready for the alarm this morning. It was good, though, to get back to work and catch up properly. I'm glad I had put in two hours on Friday morning despite having the day off.

After lunch, G & I raced down to the Customer Experience Centre of Wasl, the company that manages the car park for the group of buildings we live in. I had to talk my way past the receptionist, etc. and then state my case for being there to Miss Iman, the lady looking after "special queries". She didn't think it was possible for me to get a second car park bay but persevered. Amazing. I can. I think it was a revelation for her as well. She gave me the numbers of the bays that are available but didn't have a map, so I have to go back tomorrow after deciding which bay I want.

G immediately announced that she didn't want to be on "sun watch" hehehe. So much over here is based on trying to stay out of the sun because of the intense heat in the summer.
