We walk on Wednesdays

Here are today’s Intermediate Walkers just after lunch.

We had a small number of extras who thought that the 13 miles with the Long Walkers might have been too much for them.

It was a glorious day up on the moor tops of Hexhamshire. We saw black grouse and skylarks. Wonderful.

The walk was called The Long Drag because there is a long straight road through the moors. We also saw sheep (no lambs yet on the top) and cows with young calves.

I feel so lucky to be part of this friendly, lively group.


PS Is anyone else watching Adolescence? I watched the episode with the psychologist yesterday and thought it was brilliantly done. I’m usually shouting at the TV when they get these things wrong.
