A wet and windy day had me going for a short walk, rather than skiing. Went for a wet walk up a forest track above the town where we are renting an apartment, Saebø. The track went up to 500m above sea level, where a tongue of avalanche debris blocked further progress. On the way up there was a number of rough wooden sculptures carved out of old tree stumps from trees that had been felled, including this cheeky chappie.
