Shells

Lots of them.......
I found them in a bag the other day and decided I will photograph at least some of them over an extended time (they are fascinating things).

I phoned the surgery first thing and managed to get an appointment at 9.30am.
Before heading down there I sorted out a wee box lid which was just a bit too tight. It is the extras.

When I saw the doctor she agreed that I should get my ankle (which keeps 'giving way') x-rayed and that I did the right thing by (hopefully) getting both the hips and ankle done at the same time.
She will also re-refer my back to the memory clinic as, for some unknown reason, they marked me for 'discharge' instead of a retest in 6 months (which was 2 years ago). God knows when that will happen.

There was a trip to the dump and once again there was chaos with skips being removed and others being put back and lots of "Just put it in there" cross contamination.

I did some weeding.
What a nightmare on the back and hips that was. It was a case of having to get the rotovator involved. The ground is just so badly compacted clay!!

We had a video call with No1 son.
It was meant to be with Bunny since it is her birthday - but she was obviously busy playing with some huge play house to talk. But at least she was playing with what we got her for her birthday.
Apparently she broke her wrist recently and has taught herself to write with her left hand while the plaster is on her favoured hand.
I can't believe it is 6 years since it was touch and go for her and I put a Consultant in his place in front of his entourage and suggested that he do his job properly as it was the patient who was the important one and not him.
It still makes my blood boil to think he was prepared to put a child's life at risk rather than chase up the results of a blood test.
