W-I-D-E on Wednesday: A Natural Frame
Today we drove from Newcastle to Macclesfield - the town where my Editor grew up and which we still like to visit from time to time. It's just a flying one-night visit, partly to see some old friends and partly to put flowers in the churchyard there for her late Mum (it's Mothering Sunday this weekend) and other family members.
So I didn't have many opportunities for my blip, but we stopped just off the Woodhead Pass to see if we could find some natural framing (in a place where there was room to park the car!) for Bobsblips's Widwed challenge. This is the best I could come up with - I rather like the house and church in the distance; the grassy bank is the side of one of the reservoir dams. The weather was gorgeous as you can see.
Thank you so much to everyone who showered stars, hearts or lovely comments on my 11th blip birthday entry yesterday. I want to thank every one individually in due course but with travelling I'll have to put that on hold for a day or two.
