A low mist
It is raining today - not much fun walking in the mountains or cycling in the rain. I took the dog for a walk to the supermarket and then walked back in the rain carrying the shopping - a stupid idea, I should have taken the car!
Luke is trying to catch up on his reading. He has a selection of ten books, in either German or French, to read before the end of the holidays. (he is doing French and German for his A levels, along with double maths). He started with Bonjour Tristesse by Francois Sagan, in French. I remember reading this when I was at school, but in English. Interestingly I noticed that the one hotel in this village names Francois Sagan as one of it's more famous visitors.
So this is the view from the window - one cannot see the mountains today, just a low cloud of mist swirling around. I do like these little barns dotted all over the mountain side, they look like toy town models to me.
