Bumblebee

Being an unsettled weather kind of day, I had already decided my blipfoto  had to be close at hand and simple.  I noticed numerous buds on the periwinkle and thought that would serve well, but how nice that a bumblebee was busy pollinating when I brought out the camera.  Several burst shots and I finally got one enough in focus to share.  I hadn't seen one quite this bright before.... correct me if my Google search didn't land on the correct species... Bombus Melanopygus, or Black-tailed bumblebee.
