Doris Dodges the Cyclone
I first blipped Doris the Golden Orb-Weaver Spider on 14 December last year. She has lived on our balcony since then and we have co-existed peacefully, although she may not have forgiven me for removing her sac of eggs last month. After our recent 3-week absence, I was keen to see if she had survived the cyclone. She seems to have done so. I read that these spiders have about a 12-month life span, so she's probably now in her prime.
Thanks to many blippers who commented on my recent Asian travel photos, I really appreciate your interest.
