Short-eared owl

Near Kirkwall. I was on my bike and talking to someone in a car when I saw this owl glide down into the grass. It may have been in Orkney all winter or has returned from south. One Orkney bird that had a tiny transmitter on it, was logged as visiting Germany, Poland and Byelorussia before heading back here.
