Tufted Ducks

The weather forecast was poor so I thought I'd head up to RSPB The Loons hide again. No bittern, but plenty else- over 700 golden plover, 18 whooper swans, hen harrier, peregrine, water rail and pairs of gadwall, teal, mallard etc. Lots of noise from curlews, oystercatchers, black-headed gulls, greylag and pink-footed geese etc. And plenty of rain and wind.
