Good Hoopoe habitat...

... but no Hoopoes. There has been a influx of at least ten Hoopoes to Cornwall over the last few days and rather than going to see one already found, I racked my brains for somewhere that was suitable but none had appeared. Gunwalloe was my answer with both the grassy headland and a gofl course. No joy however.
That said it is an area steeped in history as well as being a pretty spot so always worth a visit.
