Today to a spot where a Hoopoe had been seen - but not by me today. Instead I ended up with Ruadh in an impenetrable gorse jungle. Ruadh was not pleased and needed rescuing an dlifting over the worst bits several times. After one kil,ometre I had had enough exercise for the day and so we abandoned and l;icked our wounds in the excellent cafe, the Dog and Rabbit, in St. Just
