Getting a grip

Today Little Miss A started holding things, which was a joy to behold. She hardly cried the whole hour and a half we were together, it was so lovely to see her focusing and learning and happy.

By contrast I wasn’t firing on all cylinders today. I also had a sub optimal pecan pie experience, stubbed my toe, burnt my thumb getting said pie out of oven, and had no energy. But you can’t win ‘em all.

20 degrees and sunny next week! That will be great if the forecast holds.
