Into the light

Our collection of vegan recipe books bought out from a dusty corner of the conservatory and given pride of place in the dining room, complete with fairy lights.

I did a marathon grandadding stint of five and a half hours this morning as sleepless mummy needed a break (well, sleep actually). Just to throw a little chaos into the mix the central heating guys came (I’d forgotten they were calling). Sounds like we need new valves all ‘round and a flushing out. Wish they could do that for people, sounds right up my alley (as Frankie Howard would say).

Little Miss. A continues to be colicky and has been given some different medicine. I had the "pleasure" of doing two nappy changes this morning ("code brown" as The Dizzle calls it). I vowed I’d leave that to others but I seem to be doing the full Monty. 

Much needed date night with TSM tonight - couple of beers and a burger after she finished work. We were both happy to be out on a Friday night.

A week of good weather on the horizon - and let summer time commence!
