Maybe music is the way through. Who knows?
I set up my WHF arrangements in the front room today, but then some men arrived in a flatbed and started erecting a scaffold tower on the house next door! I donned headphones and moved my work station. I moved it back when they finished. My work is lacking oomph right now, but when I phoned a client for a prearranged call, and then texted, they replied’ ‘sorry, but I fell asleep’!
Afterwards I was tired and lethargic. I couldn’t rush back to the King Arthur jigsaw, I made a soufflé omelette for lunch and set off the smoke alarm. I made noodles in peanut sauce for supper (and salad) without further incident. Tomorrow there is a patchwork class. Shall I go for the sake of the walk, or stay at home with the jigsaw? I shall decide on the day, based on the quality of the light. I’ll have a walk later, come what may.
I just listened to a programme about dementia and faith. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002962j?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile. I suspect my mum would have liked dementia-friendly church services, or even a faith based care home. She did change her church when she remarried, so what would we have chosen? The one that was nearest, maybe, so that she could be visited more often.
