Tulip

Suddenly realised that the tulips my sister gave me when she visited three weeks ago have had it. I took them outside to photograph but most of the remaining petals were blown away. I fiddled around quite a lot with this image, as if I didn't have anything better to do. 

It's a day of bright sunshine, sharp showers and a chilly wind. The sun warms the potting shed very nicely so a few flower seeds have been planted. Banana bread and apple crumble have been made, Flora has been walked and I'm going to put the kettle on.
