A taste for spring

Blossom of various kinds seems to be in full flood right now.  I thought, now the leaves are coming, I might get another shot of it on my walk, but instead got photobombed by this enchanting blue tit.  It was so interested in the base of the flowers that I wondered what food it was looking for.  So when I got back I looked up their eating habits.  There's more on that here if your interested and I did wonder if it was perhaps eating winter moth caterpillars picked from under the blossoms -but that, of course, is only a fairly ignorant suggestion..

What a very beautiful day it is.  I've spent the rest of it on rather mundane jobs, but not gardening, which is what I really should have done.  And here we are at another weekend.  Have a peaceful/exciting/ enjoyable/relaxing (delete as applicable) time, lovely blippers  xx
