Monks watching football

Up at 8.30 and had to rush to our first class at 9.00. The teacher left us to teach by ourselves . We taught them descriptions. So did colours, short, tall, eyes, ears...etc. Morag drew a beautiful drawing on the board of two people with different features. We got them to copy it out and then did head, shoulders, knees and toes with them all. Skip a hellish class as we are not actually scheduled anywhere. Finish my book in our spare time which was sad. We had a picnic after the lesson with fruit and 2 strange spring roll things. We got then outside the girls dorm. Had lunch. There was soooo much food. I ate a whole chilly and couldn't speak...my mouth was literally on fire and I was sweating and my nose was dribbling. Lasted 10 minutes until it eventually calmed down. We chatted to two women from Holland who are doing a report on the school and one of them wants to come and watch us teach tomorrow. Went to our next class (grade 3) Did the same lesson plan as before. The children are all so sweet but it is such a noisy class. They all call us teacher when they come up to show us their books which is sweet. After the lesson wanted to have a little sleep but the little girl who takes us everywhere came to the room and told us that U Ott Ta Ma was waiting outside for us (the Monk) So we went for coffee and tea outside of the school and he then took us to his old school friends house. When we arrived masses of dogs were barking and looked rather scary. We chatted to his friends son-in-law who spoke very good English. We asked him what was the best route to take to Yangon from Inle Lake. We were told the airaplane was the most efficent but he told us there have been lots of crashes so we opted for the bus. We said an emotional goodbye to U Ott Ta Ma and told him that we would send him some postcards. He told us that he likes to collect stamps. We went to the 'tailors' in the school to sort out our skirts so they don't fall down again. We went out for supper and we went to find wifi so we could think of something good to teach the children the next day. We asked one basic restaurant if he had wifi and he told us 'Yes, yes..I have fried chicken, yes' So we walked back up the street and went to the one outside the school. We had a pancake with chippeas and we asked for bread and butter but got bread with masses of butter and sugar on which tasted like pantonne. After that we went to find Monica so we can book a bus to Bagan. Eventually found her in the 'office' She showed us a video of all the students singing about the school which was so sweet. We used their wifi for a bit but mine didn't work at all. Headed back to out room and had a shower. There were three shower heads in one cubicle so
Morag and I had a cubicle thing together. Just before going to bed I got a really bad noise bleed after that finished I cut my finger on the door and then I spilt water over my bed! Wasn't the best moment!
