A grey and damp day
for travel, but that is not
a bad thing at all!

We were back on the I-84 after breakfast. It was raining as we left Baker City and it continued right into the state of Washington.

We made a quick stop at the overlook to the Columbia River to catch this wild mustang statue up high on a ridge. It was the leader of a long line of wild horses along the ridge.

I perked up as we arrived in Wenatchee, Washington. I was happy to get out from behind the wheel of my car and I was ready for a good meal. I remembered the El Agave in the downtown, so we drove there to enjoy a Mexican dinner. The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside. I had an enchilada and chile relleno with beans and rice. It was a great meal.

We're ready for the final lap tomorrow. It will be just grand to sleep in my own bed again.
