2025 Friday — Seascape
This final Friday in March was full of weather but not any rain. The roar of the waves was loud all day and their size was enormous. The sky was filled with clouds and moisture from the waves.
Midafternoon we drove to the Morro Bay Post Office to mail a couple of greeting cards — one to our grandson-in-law for his birthday and the other a get well, we miss you card to a friend from church who has had a heart attack.
The wind was strong and a bit chilly but we put on our hoodies and zipped-up so the pups could take their walk through Tideland Park along side the boats.
For our evening meal I sautéed a boneless chicken breast in butter and added asparagus spears just before the chicken was thoroughly browned. I baked an organic yam instead of a white or russet potato. I also warmed a Trader Joe’s small loaf of bread in the toaster oven. I steamed some zucchini and then added some shredded cheddar cheese. A leafy green salad with blue cheese dressing was also on our menu.
Good night from
California’s Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
