Song Thrush

I woke up early to clear skies so took advantage and had a walk around some local countryside.  I spotted plenty of red deer, but was more chuffed to get this shot of a song thrush, who waited just long enough for me to get a little closer before flying off.

After all the recent efforts around the funeral it was nice to just relax. I cut the lawns, trimmed some hedges and I now need the garden refuse collections to restart as the bin is overflowing.
