The Magic of Orlando

I'm guessing that I haven't been to a pro basketball game in maybe 45-50 years, and that was to watch our Detroit Pistons in Michigan. But, Merrick wanted to go see the Orlando Magic, so s-i-l Doug got tickets...good tickets.

It was an adventure getting there. I-75 was bad, and I-4 was worse. We sat in traffic, wondering if we were going to make the 5 p.m. start. We walked in the arena at 4:57.

The Magic started off hot, and didn't look back...winning by 30 points.

The ride home was MUCH better than the ride there.

Lost in the game day excitement was the mediocrity of the 5 garage sales we went to this morning. For the first time EVER, Merrick was shut out. He didn't buy 1 thing!
