What a difference a day makes!

After a weather check first thing we decided today was the day for the longer 10 mile walk on the western side of Rosedale Valley; after the huge winds last year it had to be a calm day for doing it!

And we had the most glorious walk! No wind and it was so warm our coats were off most of it! But a reminder for myself for next year, have a jacket potato at the pub!!! Surely they can make that okay - who would have thought a sandwich and chips could taste so bad! 

Met a lovely man with a border on the way back. His older border had died just three weeks ago at 14 years; how lucky are we that Bill is still here at the ripe old age of 17 and 6 months and still managing a wee wander out of his buggy every so often …
