Took the shine

A good last day on module one of our ESG Accelerator programme. Although everyone was a bit flat this morning, for some unknown reason.

My young padawan had good news on her audit, it was high five time again. I sent her team a congratulatory email.

After the programme had finished, my head of H&S had a call asking him to take on legal responsibility for another acquistion in the global group. It is completely out of the question and the fact that I wasn't contacted and asked has taken the shine off the past two days. I'm getting sick to death of the complete mess that global are making of this business.

Train to London was fine. I was on my own as my young padawan had caught an earlier train. I didn't do anything in the evening.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Good news for my young padawan
2.  A good first two days of this year's accelerator programme
